Abstract

In current secondary education, particularly in the second year of Bachillerato, the final content of subjects such as Human Geography is often addressed only superficially due to the time constraints of this stage, during which students must prepare for the University Entrance Examination. Unlike the teaching of Physical Geography, a field for which numerous interactive educational resources are available, resources for Human Geography remain insufficient. This project presents an interactive viewer specifically designed for teaching the tertiary sector, using spatial data from OpenStreetMap. This tool seeks to address this educational gap by offering an interactive didactic resource that promotes meaningful and gamified learning. In summary, the project effectively combines the teaching of geography with the use of digital technologies, providing a more contextualized, visual, and interactive learning experience.
