El objetivo primordial del trabajo será analizar la situación familiar de los alumnos con altas capacidades intelectuales. Para conseguirlo se ha realizado un estudio de campo cuya finalidad será conocer más acerca del entorno familiar de estas familias. Para ello se ha realizado un cuestionario online hacia un total de 290 destinatarios. Se ha podido comprobar la trascendencia que conlleva el buen manejo de la motivación dado que su correcto mantenimiento será beneficioso a la hora de llevar a cabo el desarrollo global de las cualidades de esta persona. De la misma manera, se muestra la disminución de preocupaciones entre los familiares tras la evaluación psicopedagógica que señala a su hijo como una persona con altas capacidades intelectuales lo cual permitirá entender mejor los comportamientos o razonamientos de este. Además, se podrá observar cómo las familias encuestadas dictaminan que la escuela no les ofrece la suficiente información con los que estas puedan orientarse para actuar frente a su hijo. El presente estudio beneficiará a las familias dado que les ofrecerá ayudas y conocimientos en torno a diferentes áreas con las que permitirles enfrentarse a las diferentes barreras y preocupaciones que resalten durante el desarrollo global de su hijo con altas capacidades.

The primary objective of the work will be to analyse the family situation of pupils with high intellectual abilities. To achieve this, a field study has been carried out with the aim of obtaining more information about the family environment of these families. For this purpose, an online questionnaire was conducted to a total of 290 recipients. It has been possible to verify the transcendence that good management of motivation entails since its correct maintenance will be beneficial when carrying out the global development of this person’s qualities. In the same way, it shows the decrease of concerns among the family members after the psycho-pedagogical evaluation that points to your child as a person with high intellectual abilities which will allow to better understand the behaviors or reasoning of this one. In addition, it will be observed that the families surveyed find that the school does not provide them with sufficient information to guide them in their dealings with their child. The present study will benefit families by providing them with help and knowledge in different areas to enable them to deal with the various barriers and concerns that arise during the overall development of their high-ability child.
