Abstract

Este proyecto se centra en el desarrollo de una página web que centraliza y compara ofertas de empleo mediante técnicas de web scraping. Se aborda la dificultad que enfrentan los usuarios al encontrar información dispersa en múltiples plataformas, lo que complica la comparación de vacantes similares. La aplicación recopila ofertas de portales como InfoJobs, Tecnoempleo y EURES, mostrando los resultados en una única interfaz. Para ello, se diseña una base de datos relacional, se implementan scripts de extracción de datos y se crea una aplicación web full-stack. El backend se desarrolla con Node.js y Express.js, mientras que el frontend se construye con React. Los usuarios pueden buscar empleos por categoría y ubicación, aplicar filtros y consultar detalles de cada oferta. Además, el sistema está diseñado para ser escalable y adaptable a futuras plataformas, considerando aspectos éticos y legales para asegurar un manejo responsable de los datos y la privacidad.

This project focuses on the development of a website that centralizes and compares job offers using web scraping techniques. It addresses the challenge users face when information is scattered across multiple platforms, making it difficult to compare similar job vacancies. The application collects job postings from portals such as InfoJobs, Tecnoempleo and EURES, displaying the results in a single interface. To achieve this, a relational database is designed, data extraction scripts are implemented, and a full-stack web application is developed. The backend is built with Node.js and Express.js, while the frontend is created using React. Users can search for jobs by category and location, apply filters and view detailed descriptions of each offer. Additionally, the system is designed to be scalable and adaptable to future platforms, taking into account ethical and legal considerations to ensure responsible data handling and privacy protection.
