This final degree Project has consisted of a review of the available literature on anti-obesity drugs, previously explaining the hormones involved in appetite regulation for a better understanding of the available therapies. For this study, a bibliographic search was conducted using various search engines. Its main objective is to provide knowledge about the drugs that are currently available for obesity treatment, comparing them with each other. Thus, I have come to the conclusion that Semaglutide is placed at the head of what the effectiveness of achieving weight loss concerns without forgetting, of course that no drug can achieve, on its own, the desired goals.
