Geometría y naturaleza: un polideportivo en sintonía con el paisaje natural

Abstract

Buitrago de Lozoya presenta una notable desconexión entre la periferia y su casco histórico. En las zonas más periféricas se aprecia un carácter predominantemente residencial con muy poco tránsito mientras que el casco histórico es un área más concurrida por los ciudadanos y turistas. Esto conlleva una gran diferenciación entre ambos espacios, afectando tanto la dinámica social como la percepción del entorno. Un valor desaprovechado es el paisaje natural que rodea casi toda la ciudad. El río Lozoya forma un borde natural de gran belleza, pero se mantiene en gran medida olvidado y poco accesible. La reducida conectividad afecta la visibilidad y el disfrute de este entorno privilegiado. Geometría y Naturaleza es un proyecto que pretende resolver ambos problemas: Reintegrar la periferia con el centro, creando una comunicación fluida y atractiva, y conseguir revalorizar el paisaje del río Lozoya, mediante estrategias que permitan una integración visual y funcional. Este enfoque fomentará la experiencia de los habitantes y turistas, promoviendo un desarrollo urbano más armónico y sostenible.
