Sexual violence is a key issue today as it is very present and has serious consequences for those who suffer it. Analyzing the percentages at a global level, it is shown that it affects women in greater proportion, with the aggressor being very commonly a man. The perpetration of sexual violence is influenced by different sociocultural, economic, family and individual factors. Thus, the aim of this work is to compile a collection of all the most influential factors in the perpetration of sexual violence. For this purpose, the methodology of a systematic review has been used, from which 22 recent studies on the subject have been selected, resulting in 11 articles included for the analysis of individual factors and another 11 for environmental factors, being organized according to their objects of study. The conclusions that can be drawn based on the research show that the greatest risk factors for sexual violence could be living in an area with greater gender inequality and with fewer economic resources, having suffered mistreatment, neglect or sexual abuse in childhood, being in conflict at school or having problems with the law since adolescence, starting to consume violent pornography at an early age, having a hostile masculinity towards women, practicing impersonal sex and having fantasies about sexually assaulting women.
