Programación didáctica de “Psicología” materia optativa, 1º de Bachillerato

Abstract

Psychology, as an empirical science, seeks to describe, explain, predict, and modify human behavior, understanding the laws that govern our cognitive and emotional processes. It is fundamental during the psychological maturation stage of high school, providing tools to comprehend personality and foster development in personal and professional areas. Its teaching aligns with the 2018 Council Recommendation on key competences for lifelong learning, promoting the practical application of knowledge. It is structured into three main blocks: “psychology as a science,” “cognitive processes,” and “personality psychology and social psychology.”The educational approach focuses on the development of specific and key competences, assessing the cognitive, instrumental, and attitudinal performance of students. Psychology in high school serves as a bridge between disciplines and prepares students to apply their knowledge in future personal, social, and professional contexts.
