En el presente trabajo se ha tratado de ofrecer una narrativa de los sucesos acontecidos durante el régimen de los Jemeres Rojos en Camboya desde el año 1975 hasta el año 1979 y del posterior tribunal penal internacional mixto que se estableció para juzgar los crímenes. Para ello se han expuesto las actuaciones, individuos y datos más relevantes, además, para comprender la posibilidad que suponen en el panorama internacional los tribunales internacionales mixtos se ha ofrecido también una pequeña comparativa con el funcionamiento del Tribunal Penal Internacional para la Antigua Yugoslavia.

This paper has sought to provide a narrative of the events that occurred during the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia from 1975 to 1979 and the subsequent mixed international criminal tribunal that was established to try crimes. To this end, the most relevant actions, individuals, and data have been exposed, in addition, to understand the possibility that mixed international tribunals pose in the international panorama, a small comparison with the operation of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia has also been offered.
