Abstract

Con el fin de implantar medidas que hagan frente al elevado consumo energético, la escasez de recursos y los efectos del cambio climático deben desarrollarse herramientas que aporten soluciones desde una perspectiva global. En este sentido, las redes de calor urbanas suponen un recurso en auge que, poco a poco, va apareciendo en ciudades de todo el mundo. El campus externo de la Universidad de Alcalá y los edificios que lo componen reúnen por situación y cercanía entre ellos las condiciones necesarias para dotarles de energía térmica a través de una red de calor urbana. El objetivo de este proyecto es analizar y diseñar una red de calor urbana basada en energías renovables que sea capaz de abastecer las necesidades térmicas de los distintos edificios pertenecientes al campus externo de la Universidad de Alcalá, sustituyendo de manera parcial la fuente de energía fósil actualmente utilizada para climatizarlos, el gas natural.

In order to implement measures to address high energy consumption, resource scarcity and the effects of climate change, tools must be developed to provide solutions from a global perspective. In this sense, district heatings are a growing resource that is gradually appearing in cities around the world. The external campus of the University of Alcalá and the buildings that compose it have the necessary conditions to provide them with thermal energy through a district heating due to their location and proximity to each other. The objective of this project is to analyze and design a district heating network based on renewable energies that is capable of supplying the thermal needs of the different buildings belonging to the external campus of the University of Alcalá, partially replacing the fossil energy source currently used for air conditioning, natural gas.
