En el presente trabajo se analiza la institución del Tribunal del Jurado en España y el procedimiento a seguir, a través del estudio de la normativa vigente y el criterio jurisprudencial seguido por los Tribunales españoles en esta materia. Se tratan aspectos como la composición del Tribunal y las funciones que deben realizar sus integrantes o la especial transcendencia del veredicto. De igual manera, se presta especial atención a ciertas cuestiones controversiales que surgen alrededor de esta figura jurídica, como lo es la vinculación existente entre el Magistrado – Presidente y el veredicto emitido por el Jurado, o las posibles causas de devolución del mismo y las consecuencias que va a generar

This paper analyzes the institution of the Jury Court in Spain and the procedure to follow, through the study of current regulations and the jurisprudential criteria followed by the Spanish Courts in this matter. Aspects such as the composition of the Court and the functions that its members must perform or the special importance of the verdict.
