Abstract

El Proyecto Sistema Integrado de Lombrifiltros y Filtros Verdes para el Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales Urbanas, surge de la necesidad de realizar un tratamiento a las aguas residuales para su posterior descarga y/o reutilizamiento, contribuyendo así a la conservación del recurso hídrico, preservando su calidad y cantidad. Se contempla la integración de diferentes sistemas de tratamiento, como son los lombrifiltros y filtros verdes, aprovechando las ventajas de cada sistema, evitando los problemas que se presentan cuando las tecnologías funcionan de forma separada. A continuación, se analizan las deficiencias y fortalezas de los sistemas presentados, para lo que se realiza un análisis de calidad con los diferentes resultados obtenidos en el monitoreo de cada tecnología de tratamiento, una vez obtenidos estos resultados se realiza y presenta el diseño del sistema integrado. El Proyecto se presenta para zonas rurales y áreas con valor ecológico, por su bajo costo energético, fácil operación y numerosas ventajas ambientales, frente a los sistemas convencionales de tratamiento, como principales ventajas se destacan evitar problemas de ruidos y olores, no necesitan la adición de químicos y no se generan lodos, evitando así su tratamiento y gestión.
