Abstract

En el presente trabajo de máster se realiza un estudio bibliográfico referente a los SUDS; en él se muestra cómo surgió el concepto de sostenibilidad y como se fusionó con el concepto de los sistemas de drenaje, mirando de esta forma una alternativa de manejar las aguas pluviales de las actuales urbes, logrando remediar las problemáticas que ha traído el desarrollo y el crecimiento de las ciudades como lo es la impermeabilización de grandes áreas terrestres, por vías pavimentadas donde antes se facilitaba la infiltración del agua al subsuelo cumpliendo su ciclo hídrico y que hoy en día escurre por las principales vías de las ciudades arrastrando toda clase de contaminantes encontrados en las vías y transportando todo el caudal recolectado de cubiertas y vías, terminando de verter en ríos y mares, contaminando de esta forma cuerpos de agua y produciendo a su paso otros problemas como inundaciones o reboses de los actuales sistemas de drenajes, estas soluciones están integradas a los embellecimiento de los entornos; tienen distintas tipologías que se utilizan de acuerdo al tratamiento con el que se quieran manejar la problemática determinada y pueden ser de tipo estructural o no estructural, estas medidas tienen muchas ventajas como son controlar los caudales y volúmenes de las escorrentías, controlar la calidad de las aguas y finalmente brindar bienestar a los ciudadanos. Una vez realizado el estudio bibliográfico, se realiza un modelo mediante el programa EPA SWMM 5.1.015
