The following research presents the results of a bibliographic analysis along with the analysis of the state of the art. The study performed incorporates a series of innovative technologies used by Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) to obtain high-quality bioproducts from the waste generated. The study analyzed phosphorus removal using biological and physical-chemical methods in the WWTP. In addition, the research incorporates the analysis of the fluidized bed reactor’s features, the procedure used, the advantages and disadvantages of this reactor, the viability of its installation and the product generated like fertilizer. Along with the bibliographic information obtained in this study, there has been special attention paid to the technologies, such as fluidized bed reactor model Pearl 2000, that Canal de Isabel II, S.A. is currently incorporating into the technologies that WWTPs manages.
En el siguiente trabajo, resultado de un análisis bibliográfico y del análisis del estado del arte, se expone una tecnología innovadora, utilizada por las Estaciones de Depuración de Aguas Residuales (en adelante EDAR) para la obtención de un fertilizante de alta calidad a partir de los residuos generados. Se ha realizado el estudio de la eliminación de fósforo, por vía biológica y físicoquímica, en las EDAR, así como el de características, procedimiento, ventajas e inconvenientes y viabilidad de la instalación de un reactor de lecho fluidizado de flujo ascendente y del producto generado en forma de fertilizante. Junto con la información bibliográfica, en la realización de este trabajo se ha prestado especial atención al reactor de lecho fluidizado modelo Pearl 2000 que Canal de Isabel II, S.A. está actualmente incorporando en las EDAR que gestiona.
