La Trata de personas es entendida hoy en día como la esclavitud del sigo XXI, pero es necesario precisar, que la trata se entiende como el proceso para conseguir la finalidad que es la esclavitud de las víctimas, ya sea en el ámbito laboral, o de explotación sexual, entendidas estas como las formas. Las causas que conlleva la trata, las redes criminales como sujetos que llevan a cabo estos delitos, y los efectos que esta tiene sobre las víctimas. Posteriormente, se pasan a analizar los tres artículos que reflejan los delitos que más se producen en esta esfera, artículo 177 bis, 187 y 318 bis del Código Penal. A parte de los delitos de cada artículo, dentro del delito de trata de seres humanos se dan otros, como pueden ser las violaciones, coacciones, abusos, matrimonios forzados, entre otros. Por consiguiente, se pasa a analizar, la situación actual en materia de actuación del Gobierno de España en explotación sexual de mujeres y niñas y las estadísticas de los últimos años. El último de los capítulos tiende a analizar varias sentencias actuales en materia de trata.

Human trafficking is comprehended today as the slavery of the XXI century, its essential to define this trafficking as the process to achieve the purpose that is slavery of the victims, whether if is in the workplace or sexual exploitation. The causes involved human trafficking, criminal networks as subjects who carry out these crimes, and the consequences it has on the victims. Subsequently these three articles are analyzed and reflect the crimes occurred more in this area, articles 177bis, 187 and 318 bis of the Penal Code. Apart from the crimes of each article within the crime of human trafficking others are given, such as rape, coercion, abuse, forced marriage, among others. Therefore, is analyzed to the current situation regarding the action of the Government of Spain in sexual exploitation of women and girls, statistics in recent years. The last of the chapters tends to analyze several current sentences on trafficking
