En este artículo se recogen relatos, de gran vigencia en los Siglos de Oro, que se han utilizado para demostrar el influjo de la imaginación de la madre sobre el físico del feto. Asimismo, se constata la pervivencia de tales narraciones, principalmente, en Feijoo y en nuestros días, así como su posible cambio de función.
This paper studies tales widely known in the Spanish Golden Age, that have been used to demonstrate the influence of the imagination of a mother on the body of the fetus. This article also confirms the endurance of such stories up to nowadays, mainly in Feijoo, as well as its possible function change.
