En la reivindicación y en la lucha de los derechos humanos, la condición de vulnerabilidad o grupos vulnerables ha tenido relevantes consecuencias, por lo que es preciso analizar el concepto de vulnerabilidad y las tensiones internas que demanda. Hay que diferenciar la vulnerabilidad natural que comparten todos los seres vivos de la vulnerabilidad socio estructural, derivada de las desigualdades en las que se encuentran los sujetos individuales o grupales para poder desarrollar sus capacidades humanas básicas.
In claiming and fighting for Human Rights, the condition of vulnerability or belonging to a vulnerable group have had relevant consequences. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the concept of vulnerability and the internal tensions it demands. Moreover, it is necessary to differentiate the natural vulnerability that all living beings share from the socio-structural vulnerability, derived from the inequalities in which individual or group find themselves when they try to develop their basic human capacities.
