PENERAPAN SISTEM INVENTORY MANAGEMENT PADA PROYEK KONSTRUKSI (STUDI KASUS PROYEK X)

Abstract

Material memainkan peranan penting dalam menentukan biaya proyek konstruksi, dan pengelolaan material yang buruk dapat menambah biaya hingga 5-10% dari total proyek. Ketidakpastian ketersediaan material juga sering menghambat kelancaran proyek. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus pada proyek x yang berlokasi di Sulawesi Tengah yang ditemukan beberapa tantangan dalam pengelolaan material. Oleh karena itu, penerapan sistem inventory management yang efektif sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem inventory management melalui entity relationship diagram (ERD) dan Data Flow Diagram untuk mendukung manajemen inventaris. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara dengan project manager, staf logistik, admin purchasing dan sebagainya. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi 4 aktor utama dalam Data Flow Diagram, 17 entitas kunci dalam sistem, serta informasi yang dapat diperoleh setelah implementasi sistem inventory management menggunakan Microsoft Access.
