Abstract

<p>Este trabalho teve por objetivo utilizar ferramentas da citogen&eacute;tica para estudar <em>A. asunsionensis </em>na microbacia do Sepotuba. Os esp&eacute;cimes foram coletados, nos c&oacute;rregos S&atilde;o Jos&eacute; e Bocaiuval e no Rio Sepotuba, na regi&atilde;o de Tangar&aacute; da Serra &ndash; MT. Os peixes coletados foram submetidos &agrave;s t&eacute;cnicas citogen&eacute;ticas cl&aacute;ssicas. A partir da colora&ccedil;&atilde;o convencional foi poss&iacute;vel observar a ocorr&ecirc;ncia de 5 cit&oacute;tipos. Cit&oacute;tipo A foi encontrado no Rio Sepotuba com n&uacute;mero cromoss&ocirc;mico 2n=50, n&uacute;mero fundametal (NF)=94 e morfologia cromoss&ocirc;mica 14m+10sm+18st+8a. No c&oacute;rrego S&atilde;o Jos&eacute; encontrou-se 3 cit&oacute;tipos, o cit&oacute;tipo B com 2n=50, 4m+20sm+14st+12a e NF=88, o cit&oacute;tipo C com 2n=50, 26m+14sm+22st+8a e NF=92, o cit&oacute;tipo D com 2n=48, 6m+10sm+16st+16a e NF= 80. O cit&oacute;tipo E do c&oacute;rrego Bocaiuval encontrou-se 2n=50, 6m+10sm+20st+14a e NF=86. A impregna&ccedil;&atilde;o com nitrato de prata registrou-se marca&ccedil;&otilde;es simples nas regi&otilde;es telom&eacute;ricas dos cromossomos submetac&ecirc;ntricos e a banda C evidenciou regi&otilde;es heterocrom&aacute;ticas na regi&atilde;o telom&eacute;ricas, centrom&eacute;ricas e pericentrom&eacute;ricas. Os resultados evidenciam uma varia&ccedil;&atilde;o interpopulacional da macroestrutura cariot&iacute;pica em <em>Astyanax asuncionensis</em>.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>
