Abstract

Hydrocele of the canal of Nuck, the female counterpart of hydrocele of the spermatic cord, is a rare cause of inguinal swelling in women. We report a case of this little-known developmental disorder, discuss its sonographic features, and emphasize the role of high-resolution sonography in distinguishing the various causes of groin tumors.
