La igualdad de participación de las candidaturas independientes en el proceso electoral

Abstract

La investigación es sobre la igualdad de participación de las candidaturas independientes en el proceso electoral. Para ello se comparan las condiciones en las que las candidaturas participan a nivel legislativo y presidencial de tres países: Chile, Estados Unidos y El Salvador. La tesis tiene una doble contribución: establece las fases del proceso electoral que deben evaluarse para estudiar la pregunta sobre la igualdad, a la vez que propone algunos parámetros para dilucidar si existe un trato injustificado/discriminatorio en la participación.
