Los ecos del feminismo en la evolución de las leyes relacionadas al pago de las pensiones alimenticias en Chile (1935-1963)

Abstract

En Chile, a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX, el feminismo impulsó diversas iniciativas con fines jurídico-sociales. El más conocido de estos esfuerzos fue su lucha por participar en las elecciones presidenciales. Sin embargo, ¿tuvo este movimiento otros objetivos orientados al desarrollo social? Poco se ha investigado al respecto, ya que la historiografía jurídica ha relegado este tópico a un segundo plano. El presente trabajo busca responder a esta interrogante, centrándose en un ámbito específico de estudio: la influencia del feminismo chileno en la creación y desarrollo de las prime- ras leyes destinadas a la protección de la infancia desvalida, en particular las relacionadas con el pago de alimentos. Se sostiene que las ideas de la primera oleada del feminismo chileno tuvieron un impacto significativo en la promulgación de este tipo de normativas
