Rutinas productivas de un cibermedio nativo digital

Abstract

Esta investigación estudia el funcionamiento de la redacción de VilaWeb, un cibermedio nativo digital de información general, escrito en catalán, que nació en 1995. La metodología empleada es la observación participante, durante dos meses, en la redacción del ciberperiódico, como parte de un estudio etnográfico más amplio. Así, se ha podido comprobar in situ cómo trabaja la redacción de un medio exclusivamente digital. La investigación concluye que se trata de una redacción colaborativa, donde hay un diálogo permanente entre sus miembros. Además, muestra que la espontaneidad, la versatilidad y la intuición marcan muchas de las rutinas de trabajo, porque cada noticia requiere un planteamiento diferente, en función de las declaraciones obtenidas, las fotografías o los vídeos capturados. La inmediatez y la actualización continuada son valores establecidos en la redacción, pero no comportan una falta de rigor, ya que la información es contrastada por varias fuentes
