“Add color”, es lo que comúnmente piden los editores a los corresponsales cuando les encargan un artículo de interés periodístico internacional. Es usual que, en este ámbito, se adopten ideas preconcebidas, prejuicios y fórmulas probadas para reportear una noticia en un país específico. Sin embargo, esto puede ser, a fin de cuentas, un arma de doble filo para los fines informativos.
