In response to 'When the pressure piles up' (reader's panel, June 1), I am a staff nurse on a surgical ward and under constant pressure. There should be a legal cap of a maximum of eight patients that any nurse should look aft er in a day. I don't get any opportunities to spend quality time with my patients, which is something I should be doing as a nurse.
