Baroness Sally Greengross was director general of Age Concern England from 1987 until 2000 and is now its vice president. She is chief executive of the International Longevity Centre-UK (ILC-UK). A crossbench member of the House of Lords since 2000, she chairs and sits on a number of all-party parliamentary groups, including intergenerational futures, continence care, dementia and equalities. She spoke to Ruth Williams about striving for equality for older people in a changing society.
