Se documenta la presencia de 184 especies, 12 géneros y 4 subfamilias de Aphelinidae en Méxicocomo resultado de una revisión de la literatura taxonómica y de las investigaciones de los autores en la últimadécada. Se presentan datos taxonómicos con los números de subfamilias, géneros y especies, su distribución porentidades federativas y los datos acumulados de especies descritas, además de datos breves sobre morfología, biología,importancia económica y rol en ecosistemas naturales como insectos parasitoides benéficos.
