Microorganismos asociados a la rizosfera de jitomate en un agroecosistema del valle de Guasave, Sinaloa, México

Abstract

La diversidad de los microorganismos asociados a la rizosfera de diferentes especies vegetales en los suelos en México ha sido poco estudiada y ha sido abordada convencionalmente con técnicas microbiológicas las cuales son limitadas debido a que existe un porcentaje elevado de microorganismos no-cultivables (95-99%). El presente trabajo usa la secuenciación del ADN ribosomal (ADNr) para evitar esta limitante y explorar mejor la diversidad de los microorganismos cultivables y no-cultivables asociados a tomate (Solanum lycopersicum, L.) en un agroecosistema en Sinaloa. Se empleó ADN genómico extraído de la suelo rizosferico para amplificar una región hipervariable en el ADNr empleando oligonucleótidos universales para ADNr procariota y eucariota. El análisis de de 476 y 441 secuencias de ADNr de origen procariótico y eucariótico respectivamente, mostró que los phyla eucariotes más abundantes fueron: Ascomycota (62.1%), Chlorophyta (17.6%) y Basidiomycota (11.4%); y los de origen procariote más abundantes fueron Firmicutes (43%), Acidobacteria (17.2%) y Proteobacteria (11.6%). El presente trabajo representa, hasta donde tenemos información, la caracterización más completa de la diversidad de microorganismos de la rizosfera asociados a tomate a la fecha. Se discute el papel que especies pertenecientes a géneros procariotas (Bacillus y Paenibacillus) y eucariotas (Alternaria) pudieran jugar en el control biológico de fitopatogénos en la rizosfera.
