Los esfuerzos realizados durante el socialismo para la erradicación de la poligamia y la emancipación de la mujer, parecen perdidos frente a las condiciones de aislamiento en que la economía de mercado coloca al sector familiar campesino, mayoría del pueblo mozambicano.
