Abstract

Planteamiento y desarrollo de dos interrogantes: ¿Qué clase de desafío -y para qué instancias- vienen constituyendo en América Latina los estudios culturales?, ¿Cuáles son las nuevas perspectivas que vienen a ofrecer sobre la América Latina contemporánea, más allá de los resultados de las formas de análisis cultural que habrían practicado las disciplinas establecidas?, enseguida se estudia el rendimiento de una metáfora clave.
