Abstract

In una visione sistemica dell’impresa, si ritiene che il processo di Supply Chain Management (SCM) rappresenti la spina dorsale dell’azienda e che una efficace ed efficiente gestione della catena di fornitura, dal punto di vista organizzativo e manageriale, sia un requisito essenziale nel conseguimento del miglior livello di servizio per il cliente, da cui dipende la capacita dell’impresa di conseguire un vantaggio competitivo rispetto ai concorrenti. Ritenendo che la efficace gestione della catena non possa prescindere da una corretta gestione dei rischi che su essa gravano, si propone quindi un’applicazione del processo di Risk Management alle attivita rientranti in una Supply Chain. In particolare, si definisce un metodo di identificazione e misurazione dei rischi basato sulla costruzione, in ogni sottoprocesso della supply chain, di un panel multi-livello di indicatori, successivamente sintetizzati in un Supply Chain Risk Indicator. In ogni area i rischi vengono analizzati in relazione agli specifici obiettivi verso cui e orientato il processo di SCM, ritenendo infatti che ogni oggetto di analisi sia in grado di generare rischi di natura ed entita differenti a seconda delle diverse prospettive di indagine.
