Glauber Rocha con e contro Pasolini

Abstract

Analisi di due articoli del regista brasiliano Glauber Rocha sul cinema di Pier Paolo Pasolini. "Un intellettuale europeo", datato 1974, rimase inedito fino al 1983, anno in cui fu pubblicato postumo in una storica raccolta di testi dell’autore, uscita a distanza di poco più di un anno dalla sua scomparsa. "Amor di maschio" fu scritto subito dopo la morte di Pasolini e non è mai più stato ripubblicato dopo la sua prima apparizione, avvenuta nel novembre 1975 sul settimanale satirico «O Pasquim», pochi giorni dopo la morte del generale Franco, che infatti è richiamata nelle ultime righe . Letti uno di seguito all’altro i due testi consentono di cogliere come al microscopio il complesso, intenso rapporto che legava Glauber al cinema di Pasolini, un «amor di maschio», come recita il titolo del secondo articolo, pieno di contraddizioni e di sfumature: segnato da un’identificazione profonda, spinta fino limite carnale della trasgressione e dello scandalo, ma al tempo stesso da una decisa dissociazione nei confronti di uno sguardo sentito ancora come fondamentalmente colonialista e patriarcale.
