Contenidos digitales en la educación superior

Abstract

En e-learning, al igual que en cualquier otra modalidad de ensenanza y aprendizaje, los contenidos son piezas fundamentales en la planificacion e implementacion del proceso de aprendizaje. Actualmente, la tecnologia nos permite la digitalizacion de los contenidos facilitando asi su visibilidad, distribucion, reutilizacion y actualizacion, pero no por ello debemos perder de vista su funcion pedagogica. Mas tecnologia y mas acceso a la informacion no se corresponden necesariamente con mas aprendizaje . El arte del docente -y tambien del estudiante- reside en saber aprovechar al maximo el potencial transformador de las TIC, especialmente de Internet, al servicio del aprendizaje. Hoy los contenidos estan en la red. Estan ahi, accesibles para cualquier participante del proceso formativo, es decir, tanto para profesores como para estudiantes. Seria miopia pedagogica negar tal evidencia. El uso de la digitalizacion de los contenidos como si de fotocopias se tratase no aporta nada al proceso de ensenanza-aprendizaje, simplemente sustituimos una tecnologia por otra. En cambio, el trabajo conjunto entre profesor y estudiante en la seleccion de los contenidos, su valoracion e incluso su creacion convierten el proceso educativo en un espacio de coproduccion de conocimiento, de aprendizaje.
