Abstract

Cet article traite des transformations de la subjectivité liées à l’implantation des nouvelles technologies de l’information et des biotechnologies. C’est sous l’angle d’un rétrécissement de l’intériorité comme espace intime que l’auteure aborde les mutations sociales issues de la révolution informationnelle. Partant d’une analyse du renversement cybernétique de l’axe intériorité-extériorité, l’article montre comment l’avancée des technosciences tend à ébranler les frontières subjectives de l’espace intime. De nature synthétique, l’approche développée vise à brosser un portait global des transformations en cours en tenant compte à la fois des nouvelles pratiques sociales liées à Internet et des questions posées par le génie génétique. Finalement, l’auteure postule que les mutations technologiques remettent en cause les repères symboliques hérités de la modernité, notamment en ce qui concerne les territoires de l’intimité.
