Abstract

El Derecho de sucesiones se enfrenta hoy a nuevos desafíos, tensionado entre la preservación de sus principios tradicionales y la necesidad de adaptarse a profundas transformaciones sociales, económicas y tecnológicas. Esta obra colectiva, fruto del diálogo académico surgido en el marco de un congreso internacional, aborda con rigor y perspectiva crítica algunos de los retos más relevantes del momento, como la posible reforma del sistema de legítimas, la responsabilidad del heredero por deudas, la irrupción del patrimonio digital y el impacto de la discapacidad en la sucesión mortis causa. Lejos de limitarse a un análisis descriptivo, los trabajos reunidos en este volumen ofrecen propuestas de reforma, análisis comparados —con referencias a sistemas jurídicos extranjeros especialmente representativos— y reflexiones doctrinales que contribuyen a repensar las categorías clásicas del Derecho sucesorio a la luz de las nuevas realidades sociales y tecnológicas. El lector encontrará en estas páginas un estudio profundo y actualizado de una disciplina en constante evolución, llamada a desempeñar un papel cada vez más relevante en la configuración jurídica del futuro.
