A aliança do supereu com a pulsão de morte no uso de drogas

Abstract

Trabalharemos neste artigo a compulsão à droga pelo viés psicanalítico, enfatizando a implicação do sujeito no uso da substância e buscando compreender como ocorre a passagem do uso recreativo para o uso destrutivo. Demonstraremos que os casos graves de dependência química denunciam a busca pela ruína de si mesmo. Para trabalharmos o paradoxo deste mecanismo que encontra satisfação no próprio sofrimento, empregaremos o conceito de pulsão de morte introduzido por Freud em 1920. Sob o ponto de vista da metapsicologia, este modo de funcionamento do aparelho psíquico está para além do princípio de prazer, pois contraria o seu objetivo de conservar o aparelho livre de tensões, mantendo constante a quantidade de excitação que nele circula ou reduzindo-a ao mínimo possível. A compulsão à droga atropela o princípio de prazer e impele o sujeito à própria desgraça. Quando a pulsão de morte prevalece, o sujeito padece por não conseguir colocar um freio nela.
