The development of new noninvasive methods to determine health and disease conditions that are easy to implement, low-cost, and high-impact, detecting the causes of disease, shifting paradigms from the subjective to the objective, and establishing patterns, processes, procedures, and systems that allow for their improvement. Capillaroscopy is a noninvasive, real-time, low-cost, high-impact diagnostic tool that is easy to perform, even in the doctor's office or during health workshops or brigades anywhere in the world, and requires no consumables. This diagnostic technique has only been used in a few areas of medicine, such as rheumatology, dermatology, and angiology; however, its use is currently expanding to different branches of medicine, gaining momentum under a preventive-predictive model. In this article, the author undertakes a descriptive review of Capillaroscopy as a useful tool in the diagnosis of various health conditions in people, and provides the reader with an update on useful concepts of Capillaroscopy as a constantly evolving diagnostic tool. We know that teaching this diagnostic tool is a challenge for health professionals to stay up to date on its use and applications in medical practice.
