Estudio de la Estructura Electrónica del Complejo Clopidogrel-Clonidina

Abstract

Los fármacos clopidogrel y clonidina se utilizan con frecuencia para tratar enfermedades cardiovasculares. Dado que estos medicamentos se administran comúnmente en combinación, es importante examinar sus interacciones moleculares. Para ello, se calcularon los parámetros químicos mediante el programa Gaussian 09. Además, el estudio se complementó con el análisis del espectro infrarrojo (IR), las cargas NBO, el mapa de potencial electrostático molecular (MEP), y los gráficos de densidad total de estados (TDOS). Los resultados del análisis de NBO, MEP y TDOS predicen una unión del tipo física entre los fármacos. La energía más baja para la interacción clopidogrel-clonidina se alcanza mediante la formación de cuatro enlaces puente hidrógeno observados en el espectro IR. Los enlaces de hidrógeno juegan un papel crucial en la liberación controlada de fármacos, ya que permiten una adsorción moderada y reversible, facilitando su liberación en el entorno biológico. El espectro IR, por otro lado, respalda la ausencia de degradación de los fármacos, lo que confirma la preservación del principio activo farmacéutico individual.
