Evaluación de un Colector Solar de Placa Plana Empleando Herramientas de Dinámica de Fluido Computacional

Abstract

 Este trabajo presenta un estudio de la transferencia de calor por conducción, convección y radiación en un colector solar de placa plana mediante dinámica de fluidos computacional utilizando OpenFOAM(R). Basado en las dimensiones y condiciones operativas de un colector solar existente en la Universidad Nacional de Rosario, se analiza primero una geometría bidimensional para calibrar el modelo numérico. Posteriormente, se evalúa una geometría tridimensional que representa el tubo central del colector. Sobre el mismo se estudia el rendimiento térmico y la evolución de variables clave a lo largo de un día de verano, considerando distintos niveles de irradiancia solar. Los resultados obtenidos permiten predecir con precisión el comportamiento térmico del colector, proporcionando una comprensión detallada de su dinámica física.
