Abstract

A mortalidade infantil é um indicador fundamental da eficácia dos sistemas de saúde e das condições de vida em uma determinada região. Nesse contexto, este estudo teve como objetivo analisar as tendências da mortalidade infantil na Regional de Saúde Campos de Cima da Serra nos últimos 20 anos, destacando as principais causas de óbitos e os impactos das políticas de saúde. No tocante à metodologia, a pesquisa utiliza dados históricos de taxas de mortalidade infantil fornecidos por fontes como o DATASUS, IBGE e FEE, além de informações sobre políticas públicas e intervenções regionais. A abordagem metodológica envolve a análise quantitativa dos dados, a criação de gráficos e tabelas para visualizar as tendências e a comparação com o cenário estadual e nacional. Os resultados mostram uma redução geral nas taxas de mortalidade infantil ao longo das duas décadas, refletindo melhorias significativas nos cuidados de saúde e nas condições socioeconômicas. Em conclusão, embora tenha havido progressos na redução da mortalidade infantil na Regional de Saúde Campos de Cima da Serra, a persistência de taxas elevadas em certos municípios sugere a necessidade de um foco contínuo e adaptado para garantir que todos os segmentos da população se beneficiem igualmente das melhorias em saúde.
