Plataformas interactivas para el refuerzo académico en estudiantes con rezago escolar

Abstract

Interactive platforms represent fundamental technological tools to address academic lag in basic education students. This qualitative descriptive research analyzed the effectiveness of these platforms as academic reinforcement strategies through a study conducted with 45 students with academic lag, 12 teachers, and 3 academic coordinators from three educational institutions during an average implementation period of 8.7 months. The results show statistically significant improvements (p<0.001) in academic performance, with average increases of 13.6% in all evaluated subjects. Educaplay (40%) emerges as the most used platform, followed by Google Classroom (35%) and Kahoot (25%). The most effective factors include the development of digital skills (90%) and student motivation (85%). The multifactorial analysis revealed that interactive platforms significantly enhance class participation (78%) and learning autonomy (72%), transforming traditional pedagogical reinforcement methods. However, challenges related to the digital gap (58% connectivity problems) and the need for teacher training (42%) were identified. The research confirms that interactive platforms constitute viable educational alternatives to overcome academic lag, provided they are implemented with appropriate pedagogical criteria and the identified structural limitations are addressed, contributing to the improvement of educational quality.
