
In July–August 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted at Giv‘at Ha-Shi t a in Yoqne‘am ‘Illit (Permit No. A-8800; map ref. 210330–430/728810–950; Fig. 1) prior to construction work. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was directed by T. Lang, with the assistance of Y. Yaakobi (administration), A. Kleiner (photogrammetry), E. Amos (plans), Y. Gorin-Rosen (glass), H. Tahan-Rosen (finds drawing) and A. Shapiro (location map and geology), as well as youths from ‘En Dor, A h uzzat Baraq and Mi z pe ‘Adi and workers from Yoqne‘am ‘Illit and Kafr Manda.
