
In 2012-2014, a salvage excavation was conducted in Ramat Bet Shemesh (Permit Nos. A-6565, A-6897, A-6953, A-7001; map ref. 198224-58/625342-58; Fig. 1), prior to construction. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and financed by the Zur Foundations Company, Ltd., was directed by Y. Paz (ceramics) and I. Radashkovsky (field photography), with the assistance of N. Nahama (administration), A. Peretz (field photography), Y. Zur, N. Kahalani, N. Ben Ari and N. German (area supervision), M.
