Abstract

During August 2010, a survey was conducted in the Judean Desert (License No. S-209/2010; map ref. 217413-9968/578354-86959), prior to drilling for a seismic survey. The survey, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and underwritten by the Geophysical Institute of Israel, was directed by O. Shmueli, with the assistance of Y. Haimi and S. Talis (survey), S. Gal (GIS), I. Zehavi (security) and guards provided by the Modi'in Ezrahi Company.
