Pavements from 19 New Mexico (NM) general aviation airports are evaluated in this study. These NM airports are: Artesia Municipal, Carlsbad Cavern City, Forts Sumner Municipal, Grants Milan Municipal, Lea County Hobbs, Lea County Jal, Lordsburg Municipal, Questa Municipal, Santa Rosa Municipal, Belen Alexander, Clayton Municipal, Deming Municipal, Double Eagle II, Las Cruces International, Moriarty Municipal, Raton Municipal, Roswell International, Sierra Blanca Regional and Grants County. The pavement condition index (PCI), structural condition index (SCI) and skid number (SN) based pavement evaluations have been performed for these airport pavements. PCI and SCI are determined with the visual distress survey data using MicroPAVER. Distress data collection was done in accordance with ASTM 5340 and skid resistance was carried out according to ASTM E 274-06. Following the evaluation, a comprehensive study has been performed considering these three indices. A MicroPAVER database containing distress data and condition data has been developed. The relation between various pavement indices has been developed based on the current study. Based on the study, a good correlation can be drawn between SCI and PCI, but SN does not show any correlation with any of the other indices.
