Abstract

La sensibilización mediada por Inmunoglobulina E (IgE) a Ech es más frecuente en niños con alergia a Proteínas de Leche de Vaca (PLV), especialmente en aquellos sensibilizados a Seroalbúmina bovina (BSA), siendo un falso positivo de la técnica ImmunoCAP-FEIA®, ya que no llegan a padecer Equinococosis. Intentamos dar respuesta a los interrogantes: ¿A qué es debido: contaminación o reactividad cruzada (Equinococcus-like globulin)? ¿Se trata realmente de un fenómeno de contaminación debido al origen del extracto utilizado para elaborar el ImmunoCAP®, o existe un fenómeno de reactividad cruzada por la existencia de globulinas similares al Echinococcus?
