Abstract

En este artículo presentamos un estudio sobre la referenciación en la lengua brasileña de signos (Libras) en contraste con la lengua de signos española (LSE), con el objetivo de observar tanto las semejanzas como las diferencias en la construcción y reconstrucción de los objetos del discurso en ambas lenguas. La investigación se plantea desde una perspectiva de tipo cualitativo. El corpus de análisis está constituido por grabaciones de narrativas sucedidas del vídeo Pear Film realizadas por personas sordas. Los resultados del análisis indican que a pesar de cada lengua hacer uso de alguna estrategia específica y puntual, en general el proceso referencial en Libras y en LSE está marcado por semejanzas, entre ellas el uso constante y simultáneo del deíctico y de la anáfora, denominado deíctico-anafórico y subdividido en “clase patrón” y “clase de complejas unidades manuales y no manuales” (Pizzuto et al., 2006; Reis, 2019). Los deícticos-anafóricos pueden ser considerados estrategias fundamentales para conducir la cadena referencial en ambas lenguas, con el enfoque en la construcción del referente en puntos específicos del espacio sígnico.
