Abstract

intro_obj: El autor presenta en este trabajo una nueva técnica para el tratamiento de pequeñas y medianas ptosis con hipertrofia mamaria, en pacientes con buena calidad de la piel. Todas los tiempos quirúrgicos son llevados a cabo a través de una pequeña incisión localizada en el surco submamario. El autor utiliza un instrumento diseñado por él, lo llama «subcutaneoscópio», que funciona sin necesidad de insuflar gases, como se usa en otros medios laparoscópicos, evitando así la posibilidad de embolia gaseosa o la intoxicación por C02. Con esta técnica se logra ascender la mama y avanzarla desde su posición ínfero-lateral a la superomedial, todo ello basándose en la elasticidad cutánea. La operación se hace a través de un monitor de vídeo y sin riesgo de disección. La cicatriz es virtualmente imperceptible y la forma· de la mama readquiere su polo superior. La mama se fija en su nueva posición con puntos de sutura de nylon y por las adherencias cicatriciales de la zona despegada.
