Abstract

Carolina Maria de Jesus viaja para Argentina em 1961 para a divulgação de Quarto de despejo. A trajetória é acompanhada pelos jornais da época e inscrita pela autora em Diario de viaje. Através de uma abordagem descritivo-analítica, apresenta-se uma leitura crítica do seu relato e da cobertura midiática de sua chegada à capital argentina. Assim, promovemos os arquivos do contato inicial entre a escritora brasileira e os jornalistas argentinos e demonstra-se a importância do deslocamento de intelectuais negras latino-americanas. Palavras-chave: literatura afro-latino-americana; Diario de viaje; Carolina Maria de Jesus; deslocamento.
