This page defines the principles governing the identification of rhetorical devices with the Encyclopedia of Arabic Rhetoric and the Arabic Rhetorical Device Taxonomy. These principles ensure that rhetorical identification is mechanism-based, structurally precise, context-sensitive, and reproducible.
