
The Encyclopedia of Arabic Rhetoric is a curated compendium of Arabic rhetorical devices. It is designed primarily as a structured resource to assist in the accurate, consistent, and reproducible identification of rhetorical devices in Arabic discourse. Because the Encyclopedia departs in certain ways from the organisation of classical pedagogical manuals, this page explains the five overarching principles that govern its design.
